We're still preparing this section of the website, so we apologise for not having much here yet!
That said, if you're looking for discs, or information on how to find others who play, there are a few places to start...
First off, there are lots of bricks-and-mortar retailers selling golf discs these days, so a quick online search in your town or city for "Where to buy disc golf discs in __________" should yield some good results! If you're in an area that doesn't have a local shop, there are lots of online retailers that keep a full catalogue of discs for purchase.
Another option is to borrow discs, and your local town/city may offer loaner discs you can use and return. Most often it's the local library that offers sets you can sign out with your library card!
If you're not sure what discs to buy, it might be worth reaching out to your local disc golf community to see if there is someone who can offer some advice, or maybe even let you throw a few of their discs to get a feel for them and see if there's something that works for you. Many areas will have a local disc golf club, and more often than not they will run seasonal leagues. Most leagues are entirely open to new players, encouraging them to come along whether they have discs or not, as many players will carry or bring "loaner discs" for that very reason! Do a quick search on Facebook for "Disc Golf ____________" and you should get a hit, or at least something nearby.
Our intention is to offer a space for retailers, lending locations, and clubs to list themselves along with the regions they cover so that we can offer you local results quickly and easily. If you're interested in being listed, check back here once in a while to see if the new tools have gone live!
