A Flex, or “S” shot, will actually change directions during its flight. They’re useful on holes with lots of obstacles because you can shape the throw to wind through them.
A slight anhyzer thrown soft to allow the disc to “fade” the opposite direction at the end of the flight. Increase the angle for more stable discs.

Discs want to fall toward their top plate when they roll. If you throw it straight up and down, when it hits the ground rolling it will gradually turn harder until it slows and comes to rest.
