An anhyzer is when the disc is released with the outer edge angled up and away, causing the disc to turn in toward your body during its flight.
With a similar motion to the “straight backhand”, lean backward at the waist to adjust the disc angle up, and aim to the outside of the target.

If you have space to reach out in the opposite direction, the “Patent Pending” is a useful backhand alternative!
With your back to the basket, plant your heel behind your lie and stretch out to the side with your other leg. Using a backhand grip, but a flick style throw, use an anhyzer angle to make your up shot.
